2026 RAFFA Open Championships

Bocce Australia is excited to confirm that the 2026 RAFFA OPEN Australian Championship will run alongside all other streams at this year’s Australian Championships. This event will spotlight the nation’s top RAFFA athletes in a fast‑paced display of precision, speed and elite skill.

As an official qualification Championship, the stakes are huge - winners will earn the chance to represent Australia at the Asia Oceania Bocce Raffa Championships, aiming to secure the country a place in future Junior & Senior World Championships and potential selection for this year’s World Raffa Championships in Brazil, for which Australia has already qualified.

The opportunity is massive, the competition fierce, and the stage set for an unforgettable RAFFA showdown.

Duration:  Friday 5th June – Monday 8th June

Competition format:  

• Doubles
• Precision Throw
• Men & Women Categories (inclusive of Junior players)
• Round-robin format

Eligibility 

• Athletes from Bocce Australia Affiliated Clubs may compete
• Matching Club uniforms must be worn
• Must be Bocce Australia members
• This is a qualifying event for International and World Championships
• Athletes must comply with the Bocce Australia Participation Policy for Events to compete and qualify.
• Confederazione Boccistica Internationale (CBI) Rules apply and Bocce Australia Tournament Criteria     

Game Day Lunch (COMPULSORY):

$15pp with drinks at Club Bar Prices

Note: Game Day meal tickets are compulsory for all players, coaches and officials.  Tickets are to be pre-purchased for the duration of the event in advance via Tidy HQ link provided to your State Federation. 

Guests are welcome to purchase lunch tickets the day prior via Tidy HQ or at the event.

No refunds will apply 

Dinners can be booked at the Club Bistro, Club Cafe Bar or local eateries at the teams’ own discretion.  

Player/Officials entry Fee:

$70.00 per person. This includes:

• Entry to compete in the Championships (Players/officials/coaches/team managers)
• A ticket to the Gala Dinner & Presentation Night,
• Registration Pack
• Free transport between the hotel and venue,
• Printed event program / draw booklet
• Discounted bocce Lunch & Dinner meals.
