Special Olympics Australia is part of a global movement harnessing the power of sport to create a more inclusive world for people with intellectual disability and autism. We believe sport doesn’t just inspire — it reshapes how society understands ability.
The inclusion of Special Olympics athletes in the National Bocce Championships sends a strong message about diversity, belonging, and equal opportunity. By welcoming these athletes, Bocce Australia helps amplify our mission and demonstrates what true inclusion looks like in action.
We are incredibly proud of the Special Olympics athletes competing at this year’s event. They train consistently, seize every opportunity to compete, and bring exceptional dedication, courage, and sportsmanship to the national stage.
