Led by our internationally accredited referee, Joe Maselli this course provides a comprehensive overview of the sport. The course covers theory in a visual format, allowing participants to grasp the concepts effectively. Additionally, practical sessions on the court are included to enhance understanding and application. As part of the course, participants will receive a full Referee kit, valued at over AUD $120 ensuring they have the necessary tools to officiate matches confidently. Help support our Australian Junior athletes while having a blast with a friend playing in pairs under the mesmerizing glow of the dark. Feel free to get creative and dress up in themed costumes if you'd like, sip on drinks from the bar, and indulge in delicious food from on-site food trucks and pizza oven. No experience needed - we provide all equipment and assign a junior athlete to guide you. Join us for just $20.00 per game ($10.00 per person) and if you win, advance to the next round! Exciting news for all junior bocce enthusiasts! The 2024 Australian Bocce Junior Open Championships are just around the corner. Don't miss out on the chance to showcase your skills, compete with friends, and have a blast. This competition is an official Bocce Australia qualification Championship with the winning players eligible to qualify for the Australian Junior Squad team.  If selected via the Australian Junior Selection process, players will be able to compete for Australia at the 2024 World Junior Championships to be held in Puerto Rico, 3-7 December.   Registrations now open!  

The 15th Bocce Australia RAFFA OPEN Championships - Men’s & Women’s Doubles 23rd & 24th March 2024 Bocce Australia is delighted to announce that the 2024 Bocce Australia RAFFA OPEN Australian Championship will be hosted at the Italian Australian Club, Morwell, Victoria. Team nominations are now open for registration. Competitors must be Bocce members! A total prize pool of $3,000 split between the Men’s & Women’s division, with prize monies from 1st to 8th place. Prize money is based on the participation of 16 teams in each division. If there are fewer teams, the prize money will be adjusted proportionally. The prize pool constitutes 80% of entry registration fees. Teams not qualifying for the elimination rounds will automatically receive a FREE ENTRY into the mixed men & women “Knock-out consolation prize” Tournament, with a minimum prize pool of $100 for the winning doubles team. This competition is an official Bocce Australia qualification Championship with the winning players eligible to represent Australia at the Asia Oceania Bocce Raffa championship to be held in Hong Kong later this year. 1. ORGANISATIONAL RESPONSIBILITY & REGISTRATION FEE Bocce Australia will conduct this Championship in conjunction with the Rules & Regulations of the CMSB & CBI (RAFFA).
